I value community service and want to protect the wonderful Sebastopol community that we know and love. I would be honored to have your vote.
I have lived in Sebastopol for 32 years. A welder by trade, I also do volunteer work and have been protesting with Indivisible. I am a strong advocate for working class people and the labor community. I am knowledgeable about municipal issues like wastewater treatment and water supply, having taken classes and been certified in both of these city services. My priority concerns include economic justice, affordability, inclusion, protection from ICE and surveillance, community resilience, pro choice advocacy, and the climate crisis.
I know that we face many difficult, complex issues, and good people can disagree on the best path forward. I will respect all voices and pledge to be a good listener to those who write or attend council meetings to make their voices heard. I pledge to work in good faith, collaboratively and constructively, with my colleagues on the Council and the community to arrive at thoughtful solutions in the interest of all Sebastopol residents.
